Winter – closed knits and zero styling. Nyet! Come winter and the womankind gets all set to bear the chills in swag and chic fashion more than ever; after all, who wants to get all covered up? (everybody to be honest!) Therefore, in times such as these when covering up is more than just an option, it becomes more than handy to know a few rules to dressing up, err … covering up in style. Here goes:
- Fur Coat
Unless you are a member of PETA or against animal fur (no pun intended), go for fur coats. They are warm, stylish and super cosy! Go for them, if not on a tight budget (leather jackets do just fine as well).
- Knee-high boots
Apart from looking hip and chic, knee-high boots have become the epitome of the fashion world. Combine the idea with insulation and what you get is “Woohoo!” for winters. Don’t forget to check the comfort rating of these winter boots before buying!
- Shawls
Cashmere, pashmina, angora or viscose; any kind of shawl is bound to do justice to you during the winter season. Not only do they provide stupendous protection but up the style quotient with those eloquent embroideries and designs.
- Gloves & Mittens
Gloves and mittens become a must during the frosty cold for it enables you to work out your hands more freely fighting against all odds. You could either wear a pair of gloves or mittens or both of the situation demands.
